Ali Landry (born July 21, 1973) is a model and actress best known as the 1996 Miss USA. Landry grew up in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, in the southwestern part of the state, and is of Cajun descent. Her first foray into pageantry came in 1990 when she was crowned Miss Louisiana Teen USA. She placed 7th at Miss Teen USA.
In 1996 Landry became Miss Louisiana USA and went on to win the Miss USA pageant. She competed in the 1996 Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas and finished in the top six. In later years she has been a hostess for Miss USA and Miss Universe. Landry has done much modeling for photographers and magazines, and she specializes in swimsuit and lingerie modeling.
